Buying makeup can be become quite an expensive hobby. The constant trial and error of color combinations and tones can add up quickly and become overwhelming.
By utilizing free makeup samples you can find these things out for yourself without actually purchasing a single item. Go to the cosmetic counter at your favorite department store and see if they are offering any samples. Better yet, sit in the comfort of your own home and browse the internet for samples of makeup and have them sent right to your door.
By taking a trip to the mall or a department store you will most likely find someone at the counter offering some type of sample or demonstration. Spend a few minutes talking to the salesperson or makeup professional to see if they are giving out any free cosmetic samples. This is also a good time to find out the latest products and trends, which you can hopefully receive a free sample of makeup to bring home and try out for yourself. These employees would like to make a sale so they will be more than willing to give you some attention and most likely a few free makeup samples.
For some, person to person interaction at the makeup counter may be uncomfortable. They may feel pressured to by something, or just not like interacting with someone. Either way, this is where the internet comes into the picture. By using the internet to procure as many free cosmetic samples as possible, you can build up quite the collection of freebies. Use this collection to find out what colors or styles you would like to wear and then decide for yourself whether or not you would like to buy the full product. By using these techniques you will save a lot of money by knowing exactly what you want to buy, and leaving the trial and error to the free makeup samples.
